Alexandra is a senior at NYU where she focuses on medieval and Renaissance literature and history. As a Putney alumna (of the Community Service in Brazil and Excel China programs), Alexandra has had a passion for travel from a young age. She studied abroad in Florence, Italy for four months where she completed intensive coursework in Italian language, literature (with a specific focus on Dante) and Renaissance art. Currently her studies trend toward medieval and Renaissance British literature, with a specialization in Renaissance drama. At NYU, Alexandra has been on the Dean’s List all three years of study. Alexandra also works as the Literature Editor for the Gallatin Rag, an arts magazine of NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Alexandra is highly proficient in Italian. She has taught courses on our Excel at Amherst College program.
