An avid language learner and traveler, Anna’s love for both was cemented during a summer program spent in Granada, Spain following her junior year of high school. As an undergraduate at the University of Delaware, Anna decided to keep on with her language studies declaring the Three Languages major as her second major in addition to International Relations. Anna’s explorative nature led her to travel throughout Europe and Latin America participating in study abroad programs in Argentina and Russia as well as a volunteer program in Costa Rica. Anna’s passion for language learning, travel, and cultural exploration grew with every new experience and led her to stay at the University of Delaware to pursue a M.A. in Spanish Literature. The program brought together her love of leadership, language, and reading, and gave Anna the opportunity to teach and travel in addition to her studies. During her time as an M.A. student Anna assisted in leading a study abroad trip to Mexico and taught Spanish to undergraduate students. She also took part in a faculty exchange, which led her back to Granada, Spain. While teaching English as a visiting faculty member at the Universidad de Granada, Anna obtained a Spanish proficiency certificate from the Instituto Cervantes. While in Spain, she took every opportunity available to travel, visiting over twenty cities as well as other parts of Europe. Anna is fluent in Spanish, Russian, and Hebrew. She has led Language Learning Spain.
