During college, Christopher spent a glorious semester abroad in Dakar, Senegal, where he had the opportunity to work with some of the country’s most prominent political figures and HIV/AIDS advocates. Christopher also worked at Empire des Enfants, a shelter that takes in victims of child trafficking and reunites them with their families. While there, Christopher gained a valuable understanding of an incredible organization that has truly defied the most oppressive odds. He currently works for the Crime Victims Treatment Center of St. Luke’s/Roosevelt Hospital, which provides services, free of charge, to survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, childhood sexual abuse, and other violent crimes. He is a New York State Certified Rape Crisis and Domestic Violence Advocate. In his free time, Christopher enjoys his friends and family, card playing, puzzles, and good coffee. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at the Tri-State College of Acupuncture. Christopher has led Community Service Senegal for three consecutive summers. He is proficient in French and Wolof.
