During his time at Connecticut College, Eric focused his studies on sustainable agriculture, community development and education, and worked as a bilingual teaching assistant for two after-school programs in New London, CT. He spent the fall of 2007 in Ecuador, studying themes of development, international relations, and cultural anthropology. While in Ecuador, Eric served as a sustainability intern for CASA (Centro Interamericano para las Artes, el Sustento y la Acción). With CASA, Eric worked in the small village of Pucará to establish an integrated waste management system and a communal food garden. In the summer of 2008, Eric traveled to northern India to serve as an agricultural intern with the Federation of Damanhur. That same summer he traveled to Malawi, where he worked with World Camp for Kids as a videographer, and with local NGO Never Ending Food, interviewing households and organizations about the process of establishing permaculture gardens. Eric has lived in Jackson Hole, Wyoming since the fall of 2009. In the wintertime, he coaches nine and ten year olds in alpine racing for the Jackson Hole Ski Club. He currently works as an outdoor educator for Naturalists At Large, leading week-long trips for students in scenic areas throughout California. Eric has led Community Service Ecuador.
