Jennifer is an actor, producer, and teaching artist who lives and works in New York City. She is the Artistic Producer of The Grid Theater, producing and performing in the award-winning plays “Things Beyond Our Control” by Jesse Kellerman, and “Dogs” by Norman Lasca. Teaching always has been an important part of her professional life, as she has worked with The Shakespeare Society, Brandeis University, Actors Shakespeare Project in Boston, the Cambridge School of Weston, the JCC in Scarsdale, New York, and with Shakespeare on the Sound in Long Island. She has extensive acting credits in theatre, television, and film in cities across the country including New York, Los Angeles, Boston, Austin, New Orleans, and even the very tip of Wisconsin in the dead of winter! Jennifer appeared in the Duplass Brothers film “Baghead”, called the “breakout film” of Sundance 2008 (Sony Pictures Classics), and recently starred in their upcoming film “Do-Deca Pentathlon” (Fox Searchlight). 2010 was Jennifer’s fourth summer with Putney Student Travel. She taught Acting and Theatre Production for Putney’s Excel at Williams College program and has co-led the Theatre in Britain program for three summers.
