Since graduating from Wheaton, Mammi-Ama has lived and worked in New York City, organizing her many talents, including personal styling, eco-fashion designs, photography, videography, and social media services under the online moniker “Purple Vintage Space Princess.” She is the creator of “Garment Colors Knitwear Accessories,” and her collaborations have been featured in Glamour, Paper Magazine, and Kaboodle, as well as on the USA, UPN, FOX, and Lifetime TV Networks. In addition to her prolific work in design and styling, Mammi-Ama is also a recording artist, with an upcoming EP release of original songs on the French label StillMuzik, and hosts the online “Purploptimisms Radio Show.” 2011 was Mammi-Ama’s first summer with Excel at Amherst College.
