A recent graduate of Yale, Michael has spent nearly half of the last three years in Asia. Michael first began studying Chinese as a freshman; after his sophomore year, on a Richard U. Light Fellowship from Yale, he spent an entire year studying Chinese at intensive language programs in Beijing and Taipei. Over the past two summers, Michael has interned in Beijing and Singapore engaging in marketing and market research. In college, Michael was active in planning events, trips, and concerts as the Yale College Council Events Director. Having been to over 11 countries or territories in Asia, Michael loves traveling and experiencing new cultures and cuisines. He is fluent in Mandarin. Michael has led Excel China.
