Mike is an actor, director, playwright, and teacher who has worked in the professional theatre for over ten years, and has played major roles on stages all over the United States. He is the Artistic Director for Stages on the Sound, a company dedicated to international classics and artist exchange in Brooklyn. He is also a founding member of Tax Deductible Theatre, a New York company dedicated to new, actor-generated works. Mike teaches senior-level acting at the Professional Performing Arts High School in New York, and at Commedia Dell’Arte in Hartford University’s International Studies department. He has taught Shakespeare with the Times Square Group, undergraduate theatre classes at Ohio University, Storytelling at The School at Columbia University, and has been a teaching artist with The Shakespeare Society. 2010 was Mike’s fourth summer leading Putney Student Travel’s Theatre in Britain program.
