  • Education: Brown University, B.A., Environmental Studies, Architectural Studies.

Entering college as a freshman, Rob had no idea what he wanted to do.  In his first year at NYU, he was mesmerized by the architecture and urban jungle of New York City, and decided architecture would be a good fit for him. After transferring to Brown, he discovered his love of energy science and historic New England architecture and decided to focus his studies on sustainable design and historic retrofitting.  He completed his senior research project on the thermal comfort issues of a historic building in Bristol, RI, and has expanded his architectural eye to classic and contemporary architecture.  Rob considers himself as much an artist as an academic, and has experience in glass blowing, sculpture, free hand drawing, and computer aided design.  He was also the music director of the Brown Derbies, has arranged various songs for the Derbies and performed countless concerts over the years, as well as led them on their tours of Texas and Mexico.  Rob is also a dancer experienced in West African and step, as well as an actor and karaoke fanatic. He currently works at Google. He spent the summer of 2011 with Excel at Amherst College.
