During college Scott spent a semester in Seville, where he studied Spanish culture and arts at the Universidad de Sevilla and lived with a host family. At the end of the semester, Scott spent a month backpacking throughout Europe and Morocco. In addition to studying abroad in Spain, Scott spent two years living in Monteverde, Costa Rica, teaching English to young adults and working in tourism. Scott has also worked as a freelance photographer, and as a photographer at an adventure tour park near Cancún. He currently teaches Spanish at a private K-8 school in his hometown of Chicago, where he also coaches basketball and volleyball. Scott taught Spanish on the Foundations program in 2009 and 2011, and Photography at Excel Madrid/Barcelona in 2010. He is fluent in Spanish.
