During her time at University of Texas, Veronica served as Editor of The Texas Travesty, the largest student-produced humor magazine in the country. Upon graduation, Veronica became a freelance photographer for various magazines, bands, and weddings, and she spent a summer interning for Annie Lebowitz. Veronica then spent a year in Granada, Spain, working as a high school Culture and Language Assistant. While in Spain, Veronica traveled to neighboring Portugal and Morocco, and traversed most regions of Spain, even venturing to the north to complete the Camino de Santiago trek. More recently, Veronica discovered her love of teaching photography in Peru where she worked with Peruvian teenagers for the non-profit photography organization Fairmail. She currently lives in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, working as a freelance photographer and art director. Veronica is a lover of The Simpsons, Neil Young, Surrealist art, crawfish boils, and critically-acclaimed romantic comedies featuring a strong female lead. 2012 was her second year on our Pre-College enrichment program in Spain. Veronica is fluent in Spanish.
