While at St. Olaf College, Andrea focused on psychology and developmental disabilities and/or mental illness where she studied abroad in Denmark doing a practicum at a social psychiatry cafe. During college, she worked as a middle school club leader where she discovered that she liked to work with students. After college, Andrea worked as a program coordinator working for two years with people with developmental disabilities and earned employee of the year. Andrea now works as an English Teaching Assistant in Galicia, Spain, helping to teach English to students at a vocational school. Andrea is fluent in Spanish and proficient in French. This fall, Andrea will be working remotely, in addition to doing a masters in Europe.
