Caro graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Richmond with degrees in Rhetoric & Communication Studies and Italian Studies with departmental honors. She focused on classical rhetorical theory and bodily rhetoric as it pertains to the study of fashion within Italian culture. During her third year of her Bachelors, she studied for ten months at the Università degli Studi di Verona, first taking classes studying Italian language and dialects, art history, and architecture, and then conducting research over the summer on the history of fashion in Italy. With this research, Caro wrote an honors thesis titled Recucire il Tessuto della Società where she analyzed the intersection of fashion and the feminist movement in Italy. Throughout her time at college she worked as a teaching assistant within the Italian Studies Department and served as a tutor in the Academic Skills Center. Caro is fluent in Italian and proficient in Spanish.  Beginning this fall, Caro will attend the London School of Economics & Political Science to earn an M.Sc. in Global Media for the first year of her dual degree masters program. The following year she will attend University of Southern California to earn an M.A. in Global Communications. She plans to dedicate her life to travel and likes to fill her time with adventures like running a half-marathon in Paris, cliff jumping in Portugal, and visiting friends around the world she met during her year living in Italy.
