From kayak guide on the pristine islands of Baja’s Sea of Cortez and trail-builder in Colorado’s “14ers”, to volunteer coordinator on a Disaster Relief ship responding to Hurricane Dorian in The Bahamas, Claire’s background is about as diverse as they come. Her love for outdoor adventure and travel keeps her on the move, and there is not much she loves more than bringing others along with her as they learn and explore this exciting world. In fact, teaching is a passion of hers as well, and she has had the opportunity to do so as a Fulbright Teaching Assistant in Colombia, tutoring high school students in Guatemala, and leading Putney programs in Peru and Ecuador. Having just completed her master’s program, she is looking forward to putting her books down and getting some hands-on learning and adventuring alongside more incredible Putney students this summer.
