Hailing from Down Under, Fletcher studied Spanish, Latin American studies, and Children’s literature as a lover of books and languages. During this time he completed an exchange at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú followed by extensive travel through Peru, Bolivia, and Chile volunteering for various NGOs. After a year-long hiatus teaching in remote Australia in First Nations communities he returned to University to complete his postgraduate studies specializing in the teaching of English and English as a language. As a passionate traveler and educator he has now taught in Australia, Peru, Italy, and Morocco and is proficient in both Spanish and Italian. Currently a high school teacher back home in Melbourne, you will find Fletcher cycling through the Dandenong Ranges, bouldering at his local gym, devouring fantasy books, and planning his next teaching adventure.
