While in undergrad, Jen majored in Spanish, but took most of her classes from the Political Science and Sociology/Anthropology departments. After graduating, she worked for the Minneapolis Public Schools, at the University of Minnesota, and in Acadia National Park before moving to Malaysia through the Fulbright Program. She then returned to the U.S. and moved to Boston for graduate school, where she studied public policy. Jen is currently a research fellow at Harvard’s Technology and Social Change project, where she studies public health misinformation. Last year Jen led the Italy/Greece program, and she has taught at the Harvard Chan C-CHANGE Youth Summit on Climate, Equity, & Health for the past two summers. This summer, she will be leading the Italy/Greece program again, as well as Columbia Climate School’s Climate Impacts and Risk program in Chile/Argentina. In the fall, Jen will begin a Ph.D. program focused on public health and media literacy.
