While at Brown, Lily focused on intersectional feminist writing, and what it can teach us about our world, its people, and their expression. She takes this framework on the road to wonder with cross-cultural curiosity about the different ways language affects experience. She studied abroad in Paris, practicing her French and exploring everything from museums to trans-European night bus trips. After college, she began working as a high school tutor, and loves to extend the opportunity to teach and learn over summers with Putney. Lily is fluent in French. In the fall, she’ll be starting graduate school in Ireland and is looking forward to more exploration.
