While at Vanderbilt, Megan concentrated in technical communications and management, while also pursuing a minor in French. Outside the classroom, she was the president of a professional engineering fraternity and worked part-time as a tutor and substitute teacher at a local K-12 school. In her senior year, Megan researched the Beat Generation in France and completed an Engineering Senior Capstone Project helping the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS) automate their data management system. When she is not working, she enjoys practicing her French, traveling, and hiking with friends. Her favorite destinations so far have been Prague, Amsterdam, Porto, and Toulouse, and several summers ago she completed a five-week U.S. road trip, during which she visited, hiked, and explored the western national parks. Megan is proficient in French and last summer led our Exploration program in Switzerland, Italy, France, and Holland. She spent the last school year as an English Language Teaching Assistant in Toulouse, France, instructing high school students. This fall she’ll start work as a business analyst at McKinsey in Denver.
