She went on to pursue a master’s degree in anthropology at Brigham Young University, where she studied community dynamics surrounding water management in two highland villages in the Huarochirí Province of Peru. Sylvie has led Putney programs in Peru, Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and Costa Rica. She currently works full-time for Putney, coordinating programs in South America and working on the leader hiring team. Sylvie speaks Spanish and is learning Mandarin Chinese. She loves horseback riding, being outside with her dogs, Vermont Fall, and eating good food.
