Christine Drozd
While at West Chester University, Christine focused on Spanish and spent a summer studying at the oldest university in Spain: Universidad de Salamanca. While in Spain, she traveled to the cities of Toledo, Sevilla, Segovia, Avila, Alicante, and Madrid, as well as Lisbon, Portugal. After returning from Spain, Christine continued learning about other cultures and expanded her studies to Latin American and Latino studies. Besides travel, education, and culture, Christine enjoys coaching high school track and field, having been a collegiate runner and hurdler. She currently works as an English language development specialist, helping students from all over the world navigate a new language and acclimate to their new lives in the U.S. Christine has met and taught English to people from five continents. This fall, she will be volunteering as a teacher with a nonprofit adult ESL group in Philadelphia.
