While at Chapman University, Ashley focused her studies on psychology and spent a memorable semester abroad in Florence, Italy, where she immersed herself in Italian culture and traveled throughout Europe. After graduation, Ashley’s love of travel led her to Thailand, where she lived in a small village in the Rayong province, teaching chemistry, biology, mathematics, and English for a year. While in Southeast Asia she traveled to India, Cambodia, Laos, Singapore, Vietnam, South Korea, and China. Ashley moved to Madrid, Spain in 2018 to pursue her master’s in international education and has since then taught at four different schools, from primary to high school, teaching various subjects including English, art, science, and physical education. In her free time, you can find her drawing, trying new fitness classes, hiking, and exploring different cities across Spain and Europe. Ashley is fluent in English and Spanish and has studied Italian. This fall, she will continue teaching middle and high school art, English, chemistry, and physical education at her current school in Madrid.
