Summer Climate Change Programs for Students

Putney offers a number of climate change programs that enable students to learn about the dynamics at play in Earth’s climate structure, and the natural factors that influence it. But what happens when those factors are disrupted? Explore the science behind climate change, understand its impact on our planet and communities, and empower yourself as a leader in the fight for a sustainable future. Through hands-on learning, you’ll analyze climate data, build and utilize climate models, and gain an understanding of the interconnected sciences, including physics, chemistry, and oceanography, crucial to addressing the climate crisis. Whether out in the field or on one of our campus-based programs, each opportunity is designed to equip you with the knowledge and tools to become a powerful advocate for youth and climate change.
