While at Harvard, Ansley focused on modern Arabic literature and spent time in Jordan and Egypt. For three summers, she wrote for an internationally-published travel guide, Let’s Go, traveling to Australia, Greece, Austria, and Germany to explore both cosmopolitan cities and remote islands. Ansley has studied urban issues in India and South Africa, taught dance classes at a children’s home in Peru, and performed at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland. Ansley loves combining immersive education and travel; she helped develop and run a comparative study abroad semester program on Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship in San Francisco, Brazil, India, and Uganda, delving into topics including human-centered design, food justice, and technology. Ansley currently works as a personal tutor for middle and high school students and has led high school programs in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, Costa Rica, Thailand, Iceland, and the UK. When she isn’t pursuing a new creative endeavor, Ansley can be found swimming, skiing, paddleboarding, or reading on the couch with her airedale terrier Winnie.
