While in college, David spent a semester abroad in Grenoble, France which fueled a life-long passion for travel and education. David is an Emmy Award-winning documentary film producer who has worked for HBO Sports, National Geographic and Investigation Discovery in many countries including: Guatemala, Jordan, Israel, Tanzania, Vietnam and Nepal. David is currently in his 8th year of teaching history to high school students at Avenues the World School in New York. Over the past two years he has led Putney service programs in Peru and Costa Rica. David is the parent of a teenage boy, and he loves soccer, monuments and hiking. He is proficient in Spanish and fluent in French.
