Dharma Seda Gonzalez
Dharma grew up in both Chicago and the south of Madrid, exploring issues of transnational identity, cultural exchange, and bilingualism on a personal level. Now expanding these questions to the French context, she currently lives in Paris as a Fulbright scholar, where she researches the legacies of exiled Spanish authors. She has a background in Spanish and French literature and cinema, which she studied at Harvard. While living in Boston, she ran writing workshops at local jails and prisons, worked as an archivist, and fine-tuned the skill of latte art at a local café. Now, her days often include library visits, solo outings to arthouse cinemas, attending guest lectures, and digging into Paris’ excellent selection of North African cuisine. She is a lifelong student who aspires to pursue an academic career in the field of Spanish cultural studies.
