Evan Frost
While at the University of Montana, Evan focused on editing his college newspaper, the Montana Kaimin, where he told stories across the state of Montana. After school, he worked as a staff photojournalist at Minnesota Public Radio News for 5 years, where he covered issues ranging from health care to racial and environmental justice movements. He’s had his photos land on TIME magazine’s “Top 100” photos of the year and has been published around the world. Evan is also an avid freediver and underwater photographer who photographs world champion divers and spear fishers. Evan now works as an EMT in Santa Fe, New Mexico, focusing on behavioral crisis intervention and community health, and as a freelance photojournalist. He has previously led Putney’s Service Fiji and Baja conservation programs.
