While at SDSU, Kellie focused on nonprofit management with a particular emphasis in international development. After graduating, Kellie was awarded a Fulbright Student Grant to teach master’s and doctoral students at University Hassan II in Casablanca. She then worked as the Director of the International Rescue Committee where she oversaw entrepreneurship services for refugees, migrants, and underserved communities. Kellie now works as Program Manager at Project Soar, where she oversees teen girl empowerment programs, disaster relief, and advocacy against child marriage campaigns. Kellie speaks Arabic, Italian and French.
