Miguel Gracia Zhang
While at Princeton, Miguel studied history with a broad, multicultural focus and obtained a minor in European Cultural Studies. He served as a trip-leader for the university’s outdoor program, a peer academic adviser, and a fellow at the university’s Center for Civic Engagement. Before attending Princeton, Miguel took a gap year and volunteered at a small school in the rural outskirts of Cochabamba, Bolivia, where he also studied Spanish and immersed himself in the country’s history and culture. Since graduating in 2023, Miguel has been teaching English at Can Tho University in Can Tho, Vietnam. In his free time, he has been learning Vietnamese, traveling in the Mekong Delta region, and playing pickup soccer. Miguel speaks Spanish, Chinese, English, and beginner Vietnamese. He is very excited about his Fall plans, even though he has yet to figure out what they will be.
