Sebastian Gluzman
During his time at SMU, Sebastian focused on bilingual, gifted, and talented education, where he contributed to the creation of testing materials for the Texas Dept of Education and ETS. Sebastian has experience teaching kindergarten through 12th grade, and taught a Multicultural Education class at the University of North Texas. He has traveled extensively, teaching Spanish in Salamanca, Spain, leading language programs in Salamanca and Costa del Sol, and organizing student exchange programs in Spain and Denmark. Sebastian served as a Program Dean for academic programs at Columbia and Cambridge University. He now works as a language and literature teacher, and Senior Project Coordinator in an independent school outside Washington, D.C., where he lives with his partner and dog. Besides travel, film, arts, education, and the outdoors, Sebastian is an ultra-marathon runner and has finished over 10 ultramarathon races so far. He is fluent in Spanish and Hebrew with proficiency in French.
