Francesca Gonzalez
While at EAFIT, Francesca focused her studies on international business with a minor in international relations. As a student, she immersed herself in Colombian culture, achieving fluency in Spanish. She then began to teach and discovered her passion for education, leading her to work with diverse groups ranging from children to professionals. Driven by her curiosity and love of travel, Francesca has explored numerous countries in Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Her entrepreneurial spirit was sparked by a love for creation, prompting her to pursue courses in innovation and entrepreneurship, particularly focusing on the coffee sector. This endeavor culminated in the co-launch of an online coffee business in 2023. Currently, Francesca serves as a Programs Coordinator for a nonprofit in New York, dedicated to empowering immigrant youth in leadership roles. Continuing her role as a Programs Coordinator this fall, Francesca will also dedicate time to furthering her entrepreneurial ventures within the coffee industry. She is fluent in English and Spanish, proficient in Portuguese, and has previously led Putney’s Exploration Hawaii and Service Costa Rica programs.
