While at Davidson, Mallory completed multiple engineering independent studies, including the construction of a hydrogen-powered go-kart and a full-scale off-grid tiny house. She studied abroad at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia in 2022, and returned last summer to complete an aerospace engineering research practicum, focusing on designing trajectories to Mars. Mallory has been a whitewater raft guide for five years, has worked in multiple makerspaces, and has held tutoring positions in physics and mathematics. She also has a passion for writing and was the editor of Davidson’s satire newspaper. She enjoys outdoor sports, especially canyoning, and loves playing basketball. This fall, Mallory will be starting her master’s degree at Georgia Tech.
