Putney and the Columbia Climate School have collaborated to offer interdisciplinary summer programs for high school students focused on addressing the climate crisis. Students engage with Columbia University faculty, researchers, and staff to learn how scientists are tackling climate change through cutting-edge research, education, and solutions-oriented projects. The Climate School will ensure that students are equipped with the knowledge and tools to be climate leaders in the 21st century.

in the Green Mountains
Based in Castleton, Vermont, students engage with experts from the Columbia Climate School over two weeks and learn about cutting-edge innovations in climate science and solutions.
