Scott was a chemistry teacher and soccer coach at The Woodstock School in northern India, where he lived for five years with his wife and two kids. He is now teaching again in the United States. During his time abroad they traveled all over India, from Kerala to Kashmir and numerous places in between. During breaks he adventured with his family, including a month in Thailand and Cambodia and an eight-day trek in Nepal’s Nar Phu Valley region, passing over the magnificent Kang La Pass into the Annapurna region. Scott has also lived in Brisbane, Australia, and Central Otago, New Zealand, and has been fortunate to travel to Sudan, Ethiopia, Uganda, Guatemala, and Haiti. In addition to these pursuits, Scott is an avid runner, takes pleasure in music, and is enjoying watching his children grow up into young adults. He has previously led Putney’s Service Nepal program.
