Jordan Alazruei-Toussaint
During his time at William Paterson University, Jordan focused on media production, specializing in cinematography. Alongside his studies, he served as a teaching assistant, providing support to both faculty and fellow students during filmmaking workshops and training sessions. After graduation, Jordan embarked on a journey to Ireland and the Netherlands, where he collaborated on his first multinational narrative film production. Since completing his degree, Jordan has led the production of numerous documentary and commercial projects, collaborating with renowned organizations like Donate Life and Habitat for Humanity. In October 2022, he achieved a significant milestone by wrapping up principal photography on his debut narrative feature film, Wayward Kin, shot in the plains of North Texas. In addition to his professional endeavors, Jordan has pursued personal photography assignments in captivating locales such as Costa Rica, Central Japan, and the American Southwest. He recently concluded post-production work on the feature film GAZER, scheduled to debut at the 56th Cannes Directors’ Fortnight in May. Jordan now works as an independent filmmaker, cinematographer, and editor, driven by a perpetual quest for adventures big and small. He has previously led a student program in Puerto Rico.
