While at UC Berkeley, Chris focused on climate science and environmental justice. He studied abroad in Switzerland, where he learned about sustainability, and also participated in an immersive Spanish language program in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After graduating, he completed a summer internship with the Geosciences Department at the University of Sydney in Australia, where he contributed to the development of a plate tectonic reconstruction program. Chris enjoys watching films, spending time outdoors, and playing tennis. He currently works as a substitute teacher while attending a Cybersecurity and Computer Networking program at his local college. He is fluent in Spanish and has previously led Putney’s Middle School France and Holland program.
