Becca is a third-generation co-director of Putney alongside her sister Liv. As an undergraduate at Eugene Lang College in New York City, Becca studied nonfiction writing with an additional focus on digital media studies. As a high school student, she participated in a Putney Pre-College program in France. She has led Putney programs in Europe, and directed Pre-College and Oxford Academia programs in the U.S. and abroad. Before returning to take over leadership at Putney Student Travel, she served as Policy Advisor for Technology & Innovation for the Governor of New York, and championed the state’s initiative to bring high-quality computer science education to all K-12 schools across New York State. Becca devotes much of her free time to the cultivation and study of rare and unusual plants, and is a member of the American Begonia Society.
