Devon Swinburne
Born and raised in Vermont, Devon has spent much of the last 12 years traveling around the globe. After earning her degree, she set off backpacking through Central and South America, volunteering, studying permaculture and working in ecotourism. Eventually landing in Costa Rica she earned her ESL certification and began teaching English. After two years of swells and sunshine, she moved to southern Spain to teach high school English. Now happily back in her home state Devon works as a program director and outreach coordinator with Putney. Devon has led programs across Patagonia, Argentina, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and Nepal. When she’s not traveling she spends all her free time outside with friends and family enjoying the Green Mountains.
