Amy Graham
Amy studied Environmental Design and painting at Penn. During this time, she also played sports, acted, worked as a barista, and played the piano in a bar. After spending a summer in college as an apprentice mason on a historic chateaux in southern France, Amy was energized by authentic and immersive travel experiences. She studied dance and drumming in Senegal, worked on a sheep farm in New Zealand, picked raspberries in the hills of rural Poland, and more. Amy began her teaching career immediately after college, pausing only to earn her MFA in painting and Art History in Chicago. Amy currently chairs the K-12 Visual Art department at Trinity School in New York City, where she takes full advantage of the museums, galleries, live performances, and restaurants. As an artist, Amy has been represented by galleries in Maine and Massachusetts, and her work is collected all over the world. Amy loves cooking, movies, making art, dancing, writing, hiking, and wandering in cities. Her preferred method of travel in Manhattan and its boroughs is by bike.
