Originally from Florida, Ariana first attended the University of Florida as a Lombardi Scholar before transferring to Columbia University. She majored in political science and focused on American federal government and international relations, competing and winning awards around the world with her Model United Nations team. A frequent traveler, Ariana also studied abroad in Peru, Italy, Greece, and Mexico. After college, Ariana moved to London to complete her Master of Public Administration degree with a specialization in social impact. She previously worked as a senior program manager for a startup accelerator but left two years ago to lead gap and summer travel programs year-round. She has spent the last three semesters leading climate change-focused programs in Italy and Greece. Ariana has led student travel programs in Switzerland, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, London, Hawai’i, Costa Rica, and New England. She also taught political science seminars for summer college programs in Vermont. When she isn’t leading, Ariana can be found hiking, practicing yoga, reading, or cuddling with her cat, Coconut.
