Brenna M. Casey
Brenna M. Casey is a writer and educator who splits time between Los Angeles, California, and Gambier, Ohio. She is currently a Visiting Assistant Professor of English at Kenyon College where she teaches courses in American Literature. Brenna has previously taught creative writing, literature, and critical theory at Duke and Wake Forest Universities. Her essays, reporting, and reviews have been featured in Los Angeles Review of Books, The Assembly, Ploughshares, and more. She is currently at work on a book project that interrogates early photography’s liaisons with border controls during the first 100 years of the medium. A former Putney Program Director, Brenna organized programs throughout Latin America and Europe and designed the Creative Writing in Ireland program.
