Dennis’s passion for wildlife was born in Costa Rica’s rainforests, where birdcalls and mangrove whispers sparked a lifelong love of biology as storytelling. His early fascination with avian vocalizations led to a creative fusion of music and ecology, blending piano compositions with native bird songs. In Costa Rica, Dennis has spent years working with organizations like Nature Conservancy, Adopt a Rainforest, the Sloth Sanctuary, and MEP (Minister of Public Education), helping protect species such as bats and supporting forest restoration and biodiversity education. He’s known for engaging visitors from around the world, sharing the importance of conservation through immersive field experiences and cultural exchange. Now studying with the Cornell Lab of Ornithology, Dennis continues to refine his field skills and deepen his commitment to avian ecology. His global work spans Antarctica, the Amazon, Patagonia, Madagascar, Polynesia, Southeast Asia, and the Arctic tundra, always listening for the voices of birds and the stories they carry. For Dennis, every expedition is a narrative—an invitation to teach, inspire, and build a legacy rooted in wonder and connection.
