Kevin Castillo
Kevin is a passionate sports professional and educator with a background in coaching, athletic administration, and youth development. He earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Sports Management from Salem International University, where he also competed as a Division II student-athlete in soccer and cross country. While at Salem, Kevin stayed actively involved beyond the classroom and the field—volunteering at youth soccer camps and working event security for West Virginia sporting events. During the summers, he worked at ESF Sports Camp at Georgetown Prep, helping young athletes build skills, confidence, and teamwork. As he pursued his MBA, Kevin had the opportunity to serve as the Assistant Coach for the Men’s Soccer Team at Salem, gaining valuable experience in player development, match preparation, and recruitment. After completing his graduate degree, he joined Pritchard Sports Firm, where he managed accounts payable and receivable, while continuing to coach high-level youth teams and both boys’ and girls’ high school soccer. In 2022, Kevin traveled to Barcelona with his younger brother, who was invited to attend a training camp there. While in Barcelona, Kevin took the opportunity to immerse himself in global soccer culture. He looks forward to returning and touring more top-level academies in the future. Currently, Kevin teaches middle school Spanish at Chesapeake Middle School, where he continues to foster education, mentorship, and personal growth in his students. On a lighter note, Kevin has a fun (and slightly random) talent—he knows a ton of world flags and is still working on mastering the last few!
