While at Mount Holyoke, Mira focused on comparative religion and museum education. She spent a summer in Jerusalem studying archaeology and Jewish mysticism, finding immense value in place-based learning. After graduating, she spent nearly a year in Vietnam, connecting with her Vietnamese cultural heritage and homeland. She lived with multiple host families, taught English, and traveled throughout the country. Over the past two summers, she has also managed two political campaigns—for city council and state representative, respectively. Mira now works as an advisor for high school students in the International Baccalaureate program and spends her free time dancing salsa and bachata. She is proficient in conversational Vietnamese. This fall, Mira hopes to work in immigration law and apply to a master’s program in Public Policy.
