Pedro is a journalist, photographer, and documentary film director and producer. He focuses on environmental and cultural topics, specially the ways in which science and indigenous cultures can help us better understand ways to relate to natural resources. His works have appeared in The New Yorker, Vice, Al Jazeera, Great Big Story, on Univision and various other television networks and news outlets. He is a Pulitzer and International Documentary Association grantee, a university professor, musician, and yoga and meditation teacher. He travels the world looking for new stories to tell. He has led student programs in Italy, Greece, and Peru.
