Pilar Liboreiro
While at Juan XXIII, Pili focused on excelling in her studies, playing handball and travelling anywhere she could. She lived in Mexico during the Covid era and travelled through Asia and across Argentina. Thanks to these experiences, she was able to see some of the Seven Wonders of the World—it is her mission to see all seven before the end of 2026. After finishing school, she moved to Scotland (for a second time) to work as an activity instructor at an outdoor centre, where she worked alongside people from all over the world. Pili now works as an outdoor educator in Hong Kong, helping to deliver school camps in a safe and engaging manner. During these camps, she leads water-based activities such as raft building, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding (SUP), and snorkeling, as well as other activities like hiking, climbing, and abseiling. Pili is fluent in Spanish, her native language, and also in English. She studied Italian for six years in High School and is eager to resume her studies, as Italian is her second nationality and she hopes to connect more deeply with that part of her identity. This fall, Pili will return to Hong Kong, where she will be welcoming the new staff members joining her work place.
