Raisa Lizana Orella
After completing her studies, Raisa worked as a lawyer in Spain, France, and Italy. During these years, she also dedicated herself to defending the rights of incarcerated individuals, regularly visiting prisons to provide legal counsel and advocate for prisoner rights. Later, she embarked on a year-long journey across South America, spending several months in a favela in Brazil collaborating on a community project focused on social development. She then traveled to India, where she deepened her knowledge of meditation and yoga while volunteering with individuals affected by leprosy and terminal illnesses. Alongside her legal work, Raisa has also given human rights awareness lectures at the university level. Eventually, she transitioned into psychology, focusing on trauma and survivors of sexual violence. Beyond her professional work, Raisa is actively involved in the arts and community initiatives. She is particularly engaged in projects that promote cultural expression and social change. Every year, she contributes to the organization of a self-managed, free arts festival in Valencia, fostering creativity, collaboration, and community engagement. Currently, Raisa is working on opening her own psychology clinic. She is proficient in Spanish, English, French, Italian, and Portuguese, and fluent in Valencian.
