While at Brown, Ronan focused on Roman and Byzantine history and spent three years learning modern Greek. He traveled through Greece exploring Athens, the mountains in northern Greece, and various islands. Ronan has also traveled to over 40 of the United States and spent last summer hiking in Guatemala where he climbed an active volcano. Ronan now works as an eighth grade U.S. history teacher in a public school in Washington D.C. He is fluent in Greek and dabbles in Spanish. This fall, Ronan will continue teaching eighth graders in the nation’s capital.
