Kaden Harrison
While at the University of Montana, Kaden focused on visual storytelling, working as a photojournalist for his school newspaper and as a videographer for a business consulting firm. He also spent a summer at Blue Mountain Observatory assisting with telescope operations and public stargazing programs, where he developed a passion for photographing the night sky and wide-open Western landscapes. After graduation, Kaden worked as the in-house photographer for Montana’s largest advertising agency, directing hundreds of on-location shoots across the state’s tourism industry. He has also spent over a decade in the film industry, contributing to productions for NBC, Disney, 20th Century Fox, and Paramount, including serving as a department head for a season of the hit TV show Yellowstone. His photography career has taken him across the United States and abroad to New Zealand, the Mediterranean, Canada, Mexico, and North Africa. His work has been widely published in travel magazines as well as exhibited in galleries throughout Montana. Kaden now works as a commercial photographer in the U.S. Virgin Islands, helping brands and tourism clients tell compelling visual stories while mentoring young photographers and creatives. This fall, he will return to the Caribbean to continue his client work and hopefully expand to other islands across the region.
