While at the University of Pennsylvania, Aaron studied contemporary art in an interdisciplinary program, focusing primarily on photography and video. After assisting in several classes, he won the Extended Studio Teaching Award, which enabled him to teach photography in the undergraduate program while still a student. Aaron was also selected for Penn’s Silverstein Photography Studio Abroad residency, which granted him a fully funded three-week stay in Tokyo to create a body of photographic work. After completing his master’s degree, Aaron relocated to Brooklyn, where he applies his diverse background as an Art Director for ad agencies and major brands. In his spare time, he continues to pursue his art and photography practice.
