After completing her undergraduate studies, Amy worked for five years in the healthcare industry at Bryn Mawr Hospital. During her time there, she worked with both patients as a Patient Care Technician and also worked as a Laboratory Assistant in the Processing and Receiving department. She decided to go back to school in 2018 to obtain her Masters in the field of Forensic Science. While at Syracuse, she was on the Forensic Science Student Association board as the Director of Communications. She also helped assist with forensic based programs geared towards students in community college, high school, middle school. Amy recently completed her Graduate Certificate in Forensic Drug Chemistry in 2022. In addition, she has experience working as a Medical Laboratory Scientist for almost two years in molecular pathology. Outside of the classroom, Amy has volunteered with Habitat for Humanity, traveled abroad to many countries including Australia, Canada, Jamaica, China, Japan and Switzerland, and enjoys learning foreign languages in her spare time.
